Best mode to clean up old marble steps in the corridors of the building?
The steps in the hallway of our building are extremely old and carrying marble. Does any know what’s the best stuff to clean up them with and possible something i have the ability to seal them with as well? They are actually bad however I can’t afford to have them professionally done right now.
As Result hopefully anything I can utilize and do myself with no having to utilize a gas mask and a blow torch or jackhammer or anything? Whahahaaaaaah ![]()
Stream? You sedate and serious? I utilize Top Work and they yet look dirty. Hmmm possible the one with bleach however still i have the ability to’t envision it being stronger than Top Job. However thanks. Won’t injured to provide it a try.

Try hot water and detergent Tide Laundry. I worked in an Off Road Center, and we used the shop floor with good results. Just do not use anything abrasive, because marble is a relatively soft stone.
There are good commercial sealers on the market. Check with a local equipment rental center, if no cleaning supply stores in your area.

If you have a grinder, start with 100 grit sandpaper, sand until smooth and clean, then 200 grit, then 400 grit. . .
You might want to stop with 400 grit, but if you want a semi gloss finish, then move to 700 grit and sand on the final leiansi.Tora, take a sealer marble. . . Is acrylic, the funds will seal the stone. . . Follow the instructions to the letter! Usually two coats. DO NOT clean with amonia after sealing. . .usually cold water is needed, or if really dirty, very mild soap then rinse and dry. Do not let water stand in marble, and do not allow sal/tgrim sit afto.Min use very stong acids or detergents in stone. . May cause leakage of the stone and cause flouresce.I above process can be repeated from time to time to perfect marble step/sfloors.
