Hint for installation of Marble Fireplace Please?
We recently purchased an Aurora “Micro-Marble” fireplace from a DIY store.
We purchased it on impulse and idea it was a good thought at the time.
It arrives in 6 parts including the hearth and the back panel.
The directions are extremely minimal with rudimentary diagrams which simply tell us what goes w
There were no fixings, no hint on how to put together it or anything.
It hopes to us like we need to use a little sort of resin to bond the mantle and feet together, however what do we use? Whats movement to be sturdy enough to keep it? Its as result heavy!
Its simply to home an electric fire, theres no chimney or flue to anxiety about as result it’s purely decorative, however it requirements to be fixed together, and as well anchored to the wall.
To be honest, we’re regretting purchasing it, as we actually have no thought what we’re presumed to do however can’t get it back at this time so we’d best take on with it.
Please if you know what we would be using and how to fix it I would extremely much appreciate your hint!
Many thanks & class regards

you could use white thin-set that’s the same thing as installing tile on the walls do not get the premixed one the one you have to mix with water only home depot should have some and apply that to the back of the marble and push it against the wall you would do the sides first or legs then apply the hearth to the legs with the same mortar or thin set and push every thing together but make sure there are no dust no the marble where the thin set would go let it squeeze from the side it’s OK then wipe the excess with a sponge and water good luck
