Yes, it’s worth. Resale value for your fireplace that amount in your home will remain the same. Meaning, you put in $ 3500 will get about $ 3500 out of this, when you sell the house sas.Kai beyond that, you will have good use out of it.

When I think about it, most of the construction will be the same regardless of gas or wood. Natural gas is in my best. I live in North Georgia Mountains and built a year ago. I have 2 gas fireplaces – LR and MBR – and with the cost so much, including the purchase of a tank will be buried. I made use of imitation rock which was cheaper and not so heavy so I do not have to reinstate my floors. Nor do I vent fireplaces. Gas does not require ventilation. In fact, I have no chimnies. Gas is cleaner and not as a burden of wood. Wood burning can smell good, but leaves smoke and ashes to be cleaned. Wood must be purchased and delivered or have to cut yourself.
You can also bring it home every time you need more.
If you buy a tank of gas (it cost more), then you are able to shop around for the best prices of propane.
If you rent a tank, you get always what end tank owner.
You can also fill tank in the summer.
It is cheaper then.

Yes, yes, I have a gas log fireplace and can heat the entire below me! Even though we will use say 4 MOS. I say 5 adds value to YOUR HOME. Like slate, upgraded appliances, ceiling to floor shower, there are so many little things that add value.
They feel confident, you do the right thing. (I live in Virginia and so I say 5, you have more storms than we do also) Congrat for a new home.

that you wouldnt even ask this question if you have ever had a real fireplace. Gas direct vent theres no chimney to clean, no wood to cut or split, no ashes to carry, no dust from the ashes, not trying to light wet wood. . . . Den.Asfalistikes companies not anything really dont like all kinds of fireplaces, direct vent gas but is actually akindyni.Akougetai like to get a very good deal too poly.Ta more than the i establishment are even remote control. . . . . Just press a button, and boom, beautiful, romantic fotia.Amesi vent fireplaces are better for actually heating the room, the openings are not looking too but dont give off much heat. . . . . . . .
Anyway, you dont really want to try to heat the house with issue. The live where loss of power is a concern (in cats cry here) and want to have something that will give off some heat when the power is out in a way no openings. . . . . Direct vented units should have the power to make progress fan exatmisis.Hope this helps, Possum

This is a fair price, especially considering that gas fireplaces are more expensive. Not to mention a slat/emarble surround. Go for it if you have the $ $.
