I have purchased a marble fireplace from sams club and when I utilize it a black residue appeared at the top. I’ve used lots of cleaners and solvents however they haven’t worked. How do I erase this ugly black place from my fireplace?

Hot water and 409. Let dry, then use Windex same as you would in a window.

i cannot find anything off, especially on a smooth surface, I use Mr. Clean magic eraser on. Not yet disappointed.
