NEW APARTMENTI have black marble floor in my living room and office, what color should I paint my walls?
I just moved in to my new apartment. I have black marble, the marble has some slight color accents in it its not solid black. What colors would look good in the living room and office. I currently have a beige couch in the living room but not other furniture yet.

iwould do white or beige or something neutral.
Then accent it with some bold pots, such as red or orange.
Also black frames with photos of brightly colored flowers. . . Or anyother issue on the subject.

Keep the walls light in color so as not to add the dark in the room with dark floors already. I would go with a sage green. I love how black and green look together.

With its black marble floors, you could easily make a great moder/ntrendy decor.
We paint 3 walls white and have a bright red accent wall where the sofa. With white walls, I would use black framed art pops of red and beige in it.
Also, a nice red carpet area with touches of beige and black, you look wonderful! We will try to find accent tables with brushed nickel hardware and perhaps hang four (in a square shape) brushed nickel or pewter decorative glazed tile ceiling red wall above the couch.
Add some texture to the soft couch with the addition of red silk, black, silver or accent pillows. Have fun!

How about a Neutral beige/Peach color mixture to look like “sunset on the beach” colors with golden & black (decor, accents or trimming)to bring out the marble and it’s accents…
And add a few pillows of the sunset on the beach colors to bring out your couch…
I have an ideal for drapes too if you are intrested…….
